SALAM EVERY ONE..........
As i'm in an Ophthalmology month i noticed that the cases in benghazi hospital of two cateogaries : accidental or age relaede & heridatery cases....,& as u all know as we still can't explore that cases before the factul illness so we can't change any thing .....just to make a surgery or use lazer to decrease the effects of this proplem which could be solved at early time .....
& accidental cases ........you can't count them ??~~!!as you know that in these days they didn't became only accidental just cuz of car accidents or the usage of knives & this staf of course not, 2\3 of the patients are small children blaming the workers at the country borders who let their silent blinder to get in to our country & their families who didn't take care of them......of sure u knew what i mean it's fire works +(مسدس الطلقة )lly i don't know other bad name for it of sure u can see that small balls getting out of the children's gun's making them losing alot of things from the sight to the smile & getting in long surgeries....
so as libyans who we can blame for these accidents ??their families or the workers at the borders or the ...or ?or???????? & even the blame is n't enough our children need a final solution ............so do u have one .........

who do you blame first for selling fireworks to children?
here at the end of this month they celebrate Halloween and a lot of fireworks will be on sale, their sale is very strict and only to adults, a lot warnings are broadcast on TV yet there are some accidents every year.
it is the government, the sellers and parents responsibility to keep people safe, fireworks should be supervised by adults but that is probably just wishful thinking.

There are a few things which i have never been able to understand with us Libyans, The main one is the disregard for our lives, yes our lives for example when we cross the road or fix the bare electricity wires or driving in dangerous ways ... the same applies to firework and air rifles and small guns ... Do we not value our safety or lives? if we dont care about ours why not start thinking about others safety?

والهى يا اسماء هل الموضوع كل سنه نتكلموا فيه بس ما فيش فايدة مستشفى العيون وعيادات الخاصه بعد كل مناسبه خصوصا الاعياد ومولد النبوى الشريف تكتظ بعدد الاطفال المصابين ,,,, لكن العيب مش فيهم ,, ومش حنقول اكثر من هكى
nice post dr asma ... i know ur feeling now cuz evry day in ophthalmic course well see cases whch makes u evryday asking !!! why we lose our lifes 4 causes like tht ... i know " قدر الله وما شاء فاعل " bt also " الوقايه خير من العلاج " why those buy guns like ths 2 kids & why ths guns enter our country !!! many qustions needing answers if we try 2 solve ths problem ....
u need strong heart in ths course ... beileve me

I guess the responsibility lies on all of them ...u see it's not just here in libya...every country is suffuring from this...
the goverment is doing its best by forbidding these harmfull stuff from entering the country every year and by educating ppl about its hazards using media .....ect but as our friend may said mafeeesh faida!!!
